Utah: The Next Blockchain Frontier

The Governor of Utah has approved the creation of a task force overseeing overall blockchain and crypto asset initiatives. Tasks assigned involve making policy recommendations related to blockchain and cryptoasset technologies. A part of the bill reads:

“[The task force shall] develop and introduce recommendations regarding policy pertaining to the promotion in the state of the adoption of blockchain, financial technology, and digital innovation.”

This is another great step forward to making cryptoassets more ubiquitous in government bodies. Hoping others pick up from the move of other governors, and get a head start in making sure their respective governments are integrating this tech before the masses are finally convinced of the paradigm-shifting technology!
